So we want to talk about this cute and awesome gif that just went down on our dashboard. We also REALLY want to invite @imfemalewarrior and @warriormale into this as well because we feel they would find this sort of subject worth talking about.
Frankly we’re REALLY impressed as a martial artist by this cat and we can’t stress enough why. THIS maneuver is REALLY hard for a cat. It might not seem it but the cat is at a HUGE disadvantage just trying to pull this move off in the first place and it doesn’t help the case that it is CLEARLY goin for this maneuver from the beginning.
In Martial Arts there are training and conditioning exercises meant to develop the coordination for that Martial Art.
This helps you develop the balance and brain pathways to contort yourself in ways that you might not have done before.
Some of the conditioning involves strikes or striking each other to strengthen bones or decrease your pain response to being struck. These should be done in a controlled environment with a trained professional.
The conditioning exercises are an important aspect of Martial Arts training as they help you develop the balance and weight distribution and shifting faster than if you were just trying to do the move you were struggling to master yourself!
