Change my mind
@warriormale this post needs your wisdom
A couple of things came to mind when I saw this post.
The Consumer Culture, the dominant culture that we live in, dictates that it is unacceptable for Men to touch each other.
Touching implies sexual attraction, according to the Consumer Culture.
The Consumer Culture also pushes the idea that all fighting is “aggressive” meaning that its aim is to hurt others, as in a violent act.
The Martial Culture stands for training and fighting. Fight skills are necessary to protect and defend oneself and others.
All Men should be ready and able to defend themselves and others with fight skills.
All Men!
When you fight, you touch. All fighting involves touching. It does not automatically imply any kind of physical attraction, especially when fighting!
Wrestling, the most ancient of fight sports, is heavily contact based. To say that wrestling implies sexual attraction shows a true lack of understanding of fighting in general and wrestling in particular.
Yes, some fighting has the potential to be erotic at times, but we fighters deal with it as part of the fight. Self Control and showing Respect as a big part of the Martial Culture.
In the end, knowing how to protect and defend, possessing fight skills, far outweighs any risk of erotic behavior, which is always controlled.

will go down in history as an example of perfect comedic timing

So I don’t know what your gender is (not that you have to tell me! I just don’t want to make an assumption either way so I’ll stick with more general advice) so I’m just going to say: ask if she wants your help first. If she says no just leave her alone. Don’t get defensive if she speaks harshly to you. Be respectful; you’re probably an adult so you know how to be respectful to someone.
It’s good that you want to support Women in the gym, but in approaching them with offers of advice exercise common sense and common respect.
@warriormale any input?
Do any followers have more specific advice since I don’t really go to the gym?

Really good question.
It all depends on the situation.
If a trainer is running a fight sport class and he sees that a female needs help with technique, he can verbally instruct her what to do (i.e. hold, move, counter, etc). If its not working, then ask her if she would like help. Always ask first and not single out.
Always show by example on other fighter first. But always ask if help is needed and wanted if the move is not working.
Always show Respect.

Fighting
produces and nurtures Manliness.
The
love of Manliness is called Eros.
Men
Bond when they fight.
Eros,
the love of Manliness, Drives Men to fight.
And
as they fight, they Bond.
The
fight gym is the Refuge of Manliness.
Visit
a fight gym today and see what Manliness is all about.
Our
dominant culture, the Consumer Culture, is Toxic to Men and Manliness.
The
Consumer Culture Uses Men for profit, to Sell to them.
The
Martial Culture Builds Men and Honors Men through training and fighting.
Train
and fight!
Seek
Manliness!

It makes sense
that God the Father, the vast Spiritual Force, who both creates and empowers
Fight and Manhood – would be the Root and the Source of the human quality we
call Fighting Manhood – of Areté – of Manly Excellence, Valor, Prowess,
Goodness, and Virtue.
