Soldiers are trained fighters who protect the nation.

Armed forces in all nations throughout the world honor fallen comrades in time honored ways.

New Zealand shows Respect for fallen soldiers through the Maori Haka, the ancestral war cry.

In the Martial Culture showing Respect, especially for the war dead, is very important.

There is nothing worse than being disrespectful to a fallen soldier who has given his life to the service of the nation.
