Soldiers.

Trained fighters.

Manly Men, Men who fight.

They love their Manliness.

They know that Manliness is
produced and nurtured by fighting.

They love their Manliness,
which is called Eros.

They bond through their
fighting.

As Manly Men, they would
give their lives for each other, that is how strong their Eros really is.

You can tell they are filled
with Eros, by the Signs of Manliness – their fight skills, their trained and conditioned bodies and most importantly their Moral Virtues of
Humility, Integrity, Selflessness, Self Control and showing Respect for people,
places and things.

They love their Manliness
and it shows.

but Warriormale, the US army is responsible for some of the most atrocious war crimes in history and its soldiers are paid to pick fights with those far weaker than them at the behest of the government instead of fighting each other out of their love of Manliness. wouldn’t this run counter to the Moral Virtues you described above? how can you reconcile the kind of fighting you espouse (friendly, Manly, bonding, a growth opportunity for both parties) with the kind of fighting that the military seeks to instill in its soldiers (unfriendly, almost never hand-to-hand, one party leaves dead)? im sure there are individual soldiers out there driven by their Eros, but modern-day war seems like a poor place to find Manliness

Yes, there have been many war crimes throughout history.

But all soldiers, from all armies, are Warriors.

Warriors are trained to fight and protect.

Fighting produces and nurtures Manliness.

Fighting makes Men good.

Thank you WarriorMale for defending those of us who’ve served or are currently serving our country.

As a woman, I can’t really speak on the Eros of my male wingmen, but we all believed very strongly in protecting and doing the right thing. It is never an individual soldier’s fault that the powers that be have made our militaries do awful things.

We aren’t trained to kill, we aren’t conditioned to be unfriendly, and we aren’t murderers.

Yes, I agree.

The military is trained to protect and defend the nation.

A noble mission.
