I often get requests for pictures of myself on my fight blog.

Unfortunately I’ve had images of myself manipulated and posted on the internet, which have really hurt me.

So I don’t share them anymore.

However, many of you know that I have a background in bodybuilding and powerlifting, so the ancient statue of the Farnese Hercules comes pretty damn close to what I look like.

I still lift today and I fight too.

Train and fight!

Always seek Manliness!

It’s not a label.

It’s not a name.

It’s not something you put on you.

It’s not an attitude.

You can’t buy it.

You can’t abuse it.

You can’t pretend it.

You can’t lie it.

It’s a quality.

It’s a state.

Body and mind. Spirit. Values.

The State of Manliness.

This is very true.

Fighting produces and nurtures Manliness.

Manliness includes fight skills, a trained and conditioned body, and most importantly the Moral Virtues of Humility, Integrity, Selflessness, Seld Control and always showing Respect.

Manliness can’t be bought.

Manliness is earned.

Train and fight!

Always seek Manliness!

Nude
images of male athletes, gods and fighters could be found everywhere in ancient
Greece.

Everywhere!

These
images were displayed wherever people gathered, to serve as symbols of Areté or
Manly excellence – to remind the ancient Greeks just how much they valued and
cherished Areté.

These
male nude images were symbols of Righteousness, that when a Man had Areté, that
he was in total possession of his Manhood.

A Man
with Areté had the ability and willingness to fight. He possessed all the Moral
Virtues that make Men good, such as Humility, Integrity, Selflessness, Self
Control and showing the proper Respect for people, places and things.

Areté
was very important to the ancient Greeks.

Areté is very important to us as well.

Train and fight!

Always seek and cherish Manliness!

21st of June. The summer solstice. The longest day of the year.
Sun is the source of light but also the source of life for the earth.
Go outside in the nature, look at the sun and breath the light, breath the energy, breath life.
Expose your skin to the sunlight especially early in the morning and late in the afternoon.
Feel the revitalizing power of the sun.
Feel primitive.
Rewild yourself.
Get yourself back to the innocent stage of manliness.

Nude wrestling.

Very very few men today have ever
experienced nude wrestling.

That is very unfortunate.

Unfortunate because nude wrestling
has Always been a part of a Man’s development.

In ancient Greece and Rome nude
wrestling was a key part of a Man’s martial education.

Men Need to wrestle and fight each
other Nude.

They Need it.

They have been programmed, through
evolution, to have this need.

This has developed as Mother
Nature’s way to enable Men to survive and Bond as Men.

The tribal instinct, Male Bonding,
comes from nudity.

Train and fight – Nude!

Manliness
is eternal, a Very important attribute of Manliness.

Arete,
or Manly Excellence, lives on when the warrior dies.

It
lives on in the collective memory of all fighters.

Men
discover this when they train and fight.

When
you fight a guy, you Bond to that guy forever.

Your
muscle memory will remember him long after your mind forgets.

You
will remember various aspects of his Manliness i.e.. his fight style, his body,
his strength, his Man odor, his sweat.

This
becomes part of your memory of him.

This
memory of him never dies. It’s eternal.

This
is how powerful Manliness is.

Manliness
is Eternal, like it’s Creator, God the Father.

Train
and fight!

Always seek
Manliness!

Man Muscle is a physical Sign of Manliness.

Clothes covers up that Manliness.

Nothing feels better than to ditch the clothes and hang out nude with your buddies.
