The Greeks were the first to see male nudity as, literally,
a heroic state.

‘Greek nudity is a sign not of humiliation, but of moral
virtue among the social elite of male citizens,’ says Neil MacGregor, a former director
of the British Museum.

‘When a youth removes his clothes to compete in the ancient
Olympic Games, he does not merely stand naked before his peers, rather he has
put on the uniform of righteousness.’

A fighter’s nudity pointed to his Manly Virtues that all
fighters embody.

Then and today.

Why
does Nudity matter?

Because
the Nude Man has been stripped of anything extraneous to himself – of anything
outside of his Manhood.

The
Consumer Culture’s trappings – his clothes – are stripped away.

What
is left is pure nude Manliness.

Manliness
produced and nurtured by Fighting.

Manliness
is all that matters.

Nudity
proves that.

Nude
images of male athletes, gods and fighters could be found everywhere in ancient
Greece.

Everywhere!

These
images were displayed wherever people gathered, to serve as symbols of Areté or
Manly excellence – to remind the ancient Greeks just how much they valued and
cherished Areté.

These
male nude images were symbols of Righteousness, that when a Man had Areté, that
he was in total possession of his Manhood.

A Man
with Areté had the ability and willingness to fight. He possessed all the Moral
Virtues that make Men good, such as Humility, Integrity, Selflessness, Self
Control and showing the proper Respect for people, places and things.

Areté
was very important to the ancient Greeks.

Areté is very important to us as well.

Train and fight!

Always seek and cherish Manliness!

Male nudity was common in the ancient world.

Women wore clothes, men avoided them if possible.

It all centered around the idea that it was considered Manly to be nude.

Manly Men, men who trained and fought at the Palaestra, were Proud of their muscular trained bodies.

They were Proud of their Man Muscle, uncut Cocks and Balls.

So they went nude whenever they could.

Men were always nude at the local fight gym.

Today many Men are ashamed of their bodies, untrained and overweight.

Our Consumer Culture promotes the idea that “the clothes make the Man”.

Spartan Men would Laugh at such an idea.

Who would you want to join you in a fight to defend your family and your friends?

A fighter, strong and well trained, or a well dressed Man?

Train and Fight!

The fight gym locker room
and showers.

The Inner Sanctum of
Manliness.

More secrets are shared here
than anywhere else.

The dominant culture, the
Consumer Culture, is shut out.

Only Manly Men enter here –
Men who fight.

Nudity rules.

Men can be their natural
selves, unrestrained by the Consumer Culture that dictates rules of behavior.

No “gay” or “straight”.

No “rich” or “poor”.

No clothes or pretension.

The only thing that matters
is the Ability and Willingness to Fight.

A Martial Culture.
